CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Committee to Re-Elect Jim Justice issued the following statement following the release of campaign finance reports this week:
“Despite spending nearly $2 million, Woody Thrasher trails Governor Justice by 36 points according to West Virginia MetroNews polling released in mid- December,” said Roman Stauffer, Campaign Manager for Governor Jim Justice. “The question is, will Woody Thrasher continue to burn millions more of his own money, or will he acknowledge he has no path forward and drop out of this race?”
In the most recent reporting period, Governor Justice raised more than Woody Thrasher has raised the entire campaign. West Virginia Republicans recognize that Governor Justice has fought for conservative priorities and been a staunch ally of President Trump. That’s something Woody Thrasher can’t buy.
