For The Office Of WV Secretary of State Kris Warner
Charleston, W.Va. – Thursday night, President Donald Trump spoke about election security. Click here to see his address to the nation.
WV Secretary of State Kris Warner issued a statement following the President’s speech.
Secretary Warner said, “West Virginia has yet to receive a call from the White House, the intelligence community, or any other federal agency, alerting us to a real, existing threat to our 2026 general election.
That’s great news for us, because it’s exactly what we’re seeing on our end, as well.
We remain open to any actionable intelligence that will help West Virginia strengthen its election security even further. Until then, we’ll stay the course.”
