Registration Open for 10th Annual Dash for Diabetes 5K

Ravenswood Coplin Health Systems is teaming with the City of Ravenswood to host the 10th annual Dash for Diabetes 5k Walk/Run. 

The race will begin at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, June 13th, 2026, at Riverfront Park in Ravenswood, W.Va. The 3.1-mile course runs along the Ohio River.

Registration for the Dash for Diabetes and additional information are available online at coplinhealth.com/5k. Pre-registration fees are $25 for participants 18 years and older, and $15 for those 17 years and younger. 

After May 22nd, fees for participants 18 years and older will be $30, and $20 for those 17 years and younger. Participants who register by May 18th are guaranteed to receive a t-shirt. 

Raceday registration on June 13th will be available on-site at Riverfront Park from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. 

Proceeds from the Dash for Diabetes benefit Coplin Health Systems’ Diabetes Education Program and the Ravenswood Recreation Youth Program. 

For the past decade, the Dash for Diabetes has raised community awareness about diabetes and those affected by it. Through the promotion of routine exercise and healthy eating, the event sheds light on the burden of diabetes and the importance of diabetes prevention.
