MEDIA ADVISORY: GameChanger Partnering with the Raleigh County Commission, Little General stores and the  Kind Vista Foundation for an Opioid and Substance Misuse Prevention Education Awareness  Day.

What: Approximately 2,500 middle and high school students from Independence Middle and High  School and Shady Spring Middle and High School are coming to the Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center to view the GameChanger award-winning prevention education film One Pill Can Kill and to hear from various speakers educating them about the life-threatening dangers of  opioid, substance misuse and deadly fentanyl.

Details: GameChanger, in partnership with Raleigh County Schools, along with federal and state officials  and its corporate partners listed above, is sponsoring an awareness assembly to continue to  educate students on the dangers of opioids, substance misuse and deadly fentanyl. This program,  among many GameChanger events, is designed to bring awareness to the deadly issues that our  youth and teens face every day.
