Hurricane — Mission West Virginia invites members of the media to attend its inaugural Power of One Luncheon on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at River Ridge Church, 1 Saturn Way, Hurricane, WV. The event will reflect on the organization’s impact in 2025 and recognize the individuals and partners who have helped advance its mission. Lunch will be provided.
2025 Impact Highlights
- Over 900 people took the first step by contacting Mission WV in 2025 – 99% received follow-up within two business days.
- 715 families registered online for the WV Adoption Resource Exchange
- 1,351 families supported through Mission WV’s Kinship Navigator Program
- 97% graduation rate through Mission WV’s Bridge Mentorship Program
The luncheon celebrates the idea that one person can make a lasting difference, and that together those individual acts of impact create meaningful change. Mission West Virginia will also recognize the support of partners and community members who have helped make that work possible.
Members of the press are invited to join Mission WV for lunch, with interview opportunities available from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
