The WVPA staff is excited about the opportunities provided by having the newspaper industry convention in Charleston this year.

Charles Washington Hall, at the corner of George and Washington streets in Charles Town, is currently undergoing renovations.
“It’s extremely important for the West Virginia newspaper industry to be active and engaged at the State Capitol. This is our opportunity and your attendance at WVPA Convention 2015 is perhaps more important than ever before,” said Don Smith, WVPA executive director.

“Please take a few minutes to review the attached program and register yourself and your staff today. You can register online at EventBrite.com. Search WVPA and click on the 2015 WVPA Annual Convention event link. You can also mail the registration form located on the last page of the program. The registration deadline is July 28,” Smith said.
