WVPA Sharing: Daily Mail sharing capitol decorating photo

West Virginia newspapers are joining in the WVPA’s holiday sharing effort.

Photographer Bob Wojcieszak, city editor Lauren McGill and editor/publisher Brad McElhinny have shared this Christmas decorating photo  from the Capitol. It’s a photo of statewide interest that every newspaper in the state could use.

Chuck Long, state General Services Division worker, was busy sprucing up
the state Capitol Grounds Monday, Nov. 25, with holiday cheer. He and grounds
supervisor Carles Farley used a lift truck to hang several Christmas
wreaths on light posts.

The photo in this post was emailed and can be downloaded for print use. You can drag and drop this photo to your desk top. The preview on the WVPA home page is web quality only.

We thank the Charleston Daily Mail for this shared photo.

Remember the WVPA is asking that all newsroom share items with the WVPA Sharing network over the holidays and into January to help every newsroom during slow news days and with staffing issues created by vacations.

Email the WVPA an editorial, a good feature, a photo, or an event. Always include a photo if possible. The WVPA will share it with other member newspapers.
