WVPA announces new officers and directors

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Press Association has announced its slate of officers and directors, as approved by the membership during the Aug. 9, 2014, membership meeting at Canaan Valley Resort.

 

WVPA and WVPS officers for 2014-15, are as follows:

2014-2015 WVPA Officers & Directors Nominations

President: Matt Yeager, Nicholas Chronicle, Summersville (W)

Vice President of Dailies: Ed Dawson, The Herald-Dispatch, Huntington (D)

Vice President of Weeklies: James Heishman, The Moorefield Examiner (W)

Treasurer: Jim Spanner, Parkersburg News and Sentinel (D)

Past President: Perry Nardo, The Intelligencer & Wheeling News-Register (D)
