WVPA Alert: Register now for Legislative Breakfast on Thursday, Feb. 6

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The West Virginia Press Association encourages all publishers, editors and advertising directors of WVPA member newspapers to register for WVPA’s 2014 Legislative Breakfast.

This year’s event will be held at the Charleston Marriott Town Center, 200 Lee Street East, on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014. Coffee and the breakfast buffet will be available at 7 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. The event should last no later than 9 a.m.  The WVPA is also encouraging all attendees to visit the Capitol following the breakfast for personal visits with elected officials. The WVPA advises visits with representative be scheduled prior to Feb. 6. Visits to the capitol are an excellent opportunity for advertising directors to drop off election advertising packages.

The WVPA has invited all legislative representatives but we still encourage you to contact your legislative representatives to extend a personal invitation. Your presence, along with a personal invitation, is key to having a successful breakfast.
