WV Secretary of State Kris Warner will speak at the WV Coal Festival Pageant this weekend in Charleston

WV Secretary of State Kris Warner will attend the West Virginia Coal Festival Pageant, Saturday, June 6th. The pageant will take the stage at the West Virginia Culture Center at the State Capitol Complex located at 1900 Kanawha Boulevard, East in Charleston.

Doors open to the public at 4:00pm. The program begins at 5:00pm with the national anthem, followed by the presentation of contestants, competitions, and performances. Secretary Warner will be a special guest speaker at 7:00pm.

The West Virginia Coal Festival Royalty Program consists of five titleholders, ranging from Junior Teen through Mrs. West Virginia Coal Festival. Secretary Warner will crown the Queen.

Title holders will serve as ambassadors for the 32nd Annual West Virginia Coal Festival, the coal industry, and the state of West Virginia. The five day Festival will be held June 16th to June 20th, in Madison, Boone County. The Festival draws more than 65,000 attendees each year.
