SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — Shepherd University and the Embassy of the Republic of The Gambia in the United States of America have signed a memorandum of understanding that will streamline the admissions process for Gambian undergraduate and graduate students, making them eligible for merit scholarships.
In a press release form Shepherd University, Dr. Virginia Hicks said, “We are excited and honored to be a part of this wonderful partnership that we hope lasts for many, many years,” said Hicks, assistant provost for Academic Community Outreach at Shepherd University. “We look forward to developing many collaborative opportunities and to welcome students from The Gambia.” …
