Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers, Inc. welcomes Dr. Rachel M. Wilt, DDS, CTTS

GRAFTON, W.Va. — Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers, Inc. (PTCHC) welcomes Dr. Rachel M. Wilt, DDS, CTTS of Newburg, WV to its healthcare staff at the Dental Center of Taylor County.

With nearly 20 years of dentistry experience–including nearly a decade of practicing in federally qualified health centers (FQHCs)–Dr. Wilt brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to PTCHC. Most recently, she served as Dental Director and Dentist at Clay-Battelle Health Services Association.

A graduate of Fairmont State University, Wilt earned her B.S. in Biology in 2003, graduating cum laude, before continuing her education at West Virginia University’s School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2007.

“Dr. Wilt’s background in community health and her dedication to providing holistic dental care makes her an ideal addition to our team,” said June Griffith, CEO of Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers. “Her valuable skillset and expertise will certainly help us further our mission of providing quality health care services to Grafton and surrounding communities.” 

Licensed to practice dentistry in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, Dr. Wilt is also a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS). This is a unique qualification she brings to caring for patients who seek to improve their overall health through tobacco cessation.

“I am thrilled to join Preston-Taylor Community Health Centers and contribute to their mission by providing essential dental care throughout the region,” said Dr. Wilt. “I am proud to be returning home and working alongside the PTCHC team to make quality dental care services accessible to more families and individuals in the communities we serve.”

Dr. Wilt’s skillset in general dentistry practice includes restorative dentistry, crown and bridge work, complete and partial dentures, root canals, and extractions. Additionally, she is experienced in treating an array of patient groups, including children, adults, and inmates of the Department Of Corrections (DOC). She will be serving patients at the Dental Center of Taylor County office located at 711 N Pike Street in Grafton.
