Charleston – The West Virginia Department of Tourism invites all media organizations planning to attend and cover the upcoming Capital City Celebration to complete a media credential verification check prior to the event.
Media outlets are asked to share the names of attending personnel, and note whether they plan to conduct interviews, live shots, or broadcasts during the celebration. This information will help event coordinators provide smooth access, designated media areas, and the support needed for broadcast coverage.

Thursday, June 25: Big Wheel Construction
Thursday, July 2: Big Wheel Media Rides at 10:30 AM
Thursday, July 2: 5:00—10:00 PM
Friday, July 3: 10:00 AM—10:00 PM
Saturday, July 4: 10:00 AM—10:00 PM
Saturday, July 4: Ceremony at 6:00 PM
Sunday, July 5: 10:00 AM—10:00 PM
All media representatives must complete the Media Credential & Coverage Form by Monday, June 29 to be included in coverage planning.
Media Credential Pickup
Approved media passes will be available for pickup July 2-5 at the Credentials Tent located at the Culture Center bus loop.
