LEWISBURG, W.Va. — The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) has issued the following media advisory:
On Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 11:30 a.m., WVSOM will conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new statewide campus center at 3211 MacCorkle Ave. SE, Charleston, W.Va. 25302.
The space in Charleston will be a center for learning, study and socializing for WVSOM students on rotation in the South Central Region of the school’s statewide campus system. It will also serve as WVSOM’s hub for community health events in the Charleston area.
WVSOM President James W. Nemitz, Ph.D., and Associate Dean for Predoctoral Clinical Education Art Rubin, D.O., will welcome guests and make comments. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, at 1 p.m., WVSOM will host a community open house.
