WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), a member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, will participate in a committee field hearing on Monday, February 15, 2016 in Bethel, Alaska.
The hearing will examine opportunities for energy innovation and technology deployment in high-cost areas like Alaska and other parts of the country. This hearing will highlight the innovative work being done in remote communities and examine challenges that remain to ensure that rural Americans have access to affordable energy.
