CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The auxiliaries of CAMC General Hospital and CAMC Memorial Hospital are sponsoring Veterans Day flag ceremonies Wednesday, Nov. 6.
There are two separate ceremonies:
10:30 a.m., in the circle at the entrance to General Hospital, 501 Morris St.
12:30 p.m., between Memorial Hospital and the WVU building, 3110 MacCorkle Ave.
The ceremonies will be held to honor the patients, families and veterans who are members of the CAMC workforce and our community. The ceremonies will include a presentation of colors, the Pledge of Allegiance and singing the National Anthem.
Current flags will be retired and presented to a CAMC employee veteran and new flags will be raised.
