CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Innovating for a Healthier Tomorrow: The 2024 Vandalia Health Network Conference will unite health care professionals, policymakers and experts in a unified effort to tackle current health care challenges and explore future opportunities.
The conference will provide insights into health care policy updates, strategic planning and the impact of legislative changes on public health. A particular focus will be placed on crisis management strategies, particularly addressing the opioid epidemic through innovative and collaborative approaches.
The conference is Friday, May 17, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
Several speakers are scheduled throughout the day discussing numerous health topics affecting West Virginia. Guest speakers include West Virginia Department of Health Secretary Sherri A. Young, DO, MBA, FAAFP, Dr. Matthew Christiansen, State Health Officer and West Virginia Department of Human Services Secretary Cynthia Persily, PhD.
