Justice appoints McLaughlin to fill judge seat

Gov. Jim Justice has appointed Debra McLaughlin to serve as judge for the 23rd Judicial Circuit, filling the vacancy created by the death of the Honorable John Yoder.

McLaughlin currently resides in Berkeley Springs.

She has practiced law in West Virginia since 1999.

McLaughlin served as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Morgan County from 1999-2002. Since 2002, she has been Morgan County’s prosecuting attorney.
