Gov. Justice, WorkForce West Virginia and the West Virginia Department of Economic Development announce Nov. 20 Apprenticeship Virtual Job Fair

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Gov. Jim Justice, WorkForce West Virginia and the West Virginia Department of Economic Development have announced the West Virginia Apprenticeship Virtual Job Fair, scheduled for November 20 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. 

“As part of National Apprenticeship Week from November 17-23, WorkForce West Virginia, under the leadership of Gov. Justice is holding a free, virtual job fair for any West Virginian interested in learning more or applying for an apprenticeship in the Mountain State,”  said Scott Adkins, Acting Commissioner of WorkForce West Virginia.

West Virginia students and job seekers interested in apprenticeships are encouraged to register for the November 20 Apprenticeship Virtual Job Fair. The Virtual Job Fair portal features a Job Seeker Training video, a list of participating employers and channels for attendees to register and log in.

Attendees will learn more about available apprenticeship opportunities across West Virginia in a variety of industries while being able to connect with potential employers and apprenticeship program representatives. 

Gov. Justice issued a proclamation naming November 17-23 as National Apprenticeship Week in West Virginia.
