Charleston Civic Center hosting annual event
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Anyone planning a wedding in 2016, or beyond, might want to say “I do” Sunday when considering a trip to the 2016 Charleston Wedding Expo.
With 50,000 square feet of exhibits from top wedding professionals in the area, organizers say the Charleston Wedding Expo is the region’s “ultimate one-stop shop for wedding planning.” “More than 100 vendors will be on hand to help couples plan their big day!. This event allows attendees the opportunity to talk to the experts no matter how big or small their dream wedding may be. Over 100 fabulous door prizes will be given at the show,” said organizer Anna Campbell.
The Expo is Sunday noon until 4 p.m. at the Charleston Civic Center. Admission is $6.
“These vendors offer the newest ideas in wedding planning. A bridal fashion show will highlight the latest fashion trends for the entire bridal party. Brides may order invitations, find the dress of their dreams, sample the cake, order tuxedos for their grooms, find the perfect venue, caterer and book the limo all in one spot! Additionally, engaged couples may find ideas on favors, honeymoons, photographers, etc,” Campbell said.
New this year, Campbell said. is the Exclusive VIP Experience. “Only 50 tickets are available for this exciting event. The package includes free parking, an elegant brunch, goodie bag, and much more. A panel of wedding experts will share expert tips and Electric 102.7 DJ’s Morgan and Coach Kidd will provide entertainment. The VIP ticket also covers admission ticket into the 2016 Wedding Expo. Attendees will be entered to win prizes, including: a limited edition Blenko signature vase, a Sephora makeover and a one-night stay in a suite at the Courtyard Marriott,” Campbell said.
This Expo will also feature the inaugural Blenko vase — available only to the 12th Annual Charleston Wedding Expo and offered in a limited number of pieces for a special price of $60. Blenko Glass of Milton produced the vase, which is hand-formed and mouth blown in the age old process of American hand made glass. The form of the vase is from the Bella Bocca line.
