St. Albans — Fight fans across the Mid-Atlantic region are gearing up for an action-packed night of professional and amateur combat sports as the “Battle of St. Albans” comes to McKinley Middle School on Saturday, June 27.

The featured main event will showcase hometown standout Laura Byrnes taking on Jessie Clark for the PKF Women’s 150-Pound Mid-Atlantic Championship in what is expected to be one of the biggest women’s kickboxing matches ever held in the area.

Presented by Dawg House Promotions and the Professional Kickboxing Foundation (PKF), the event will feature more than 15 professional and amateur boxing and kickboxing bouts, bringing together rising prospects, local favorites, and experienced fighters from across the region.

Doors will open at 4:00 PM, with the first bout scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM at McKinley Middle School in St. Albans, West Virginia.

Promoters say the event is designed to showcase both elite talent and the growing combat sports scene in West Virginia.

“This is going to be a huge night for St. Albans and for combat sports in the region,” organizers said. “Fans can expect nonstop action from the opening bell to the main event.”

The Laura Byrnes vs. Jessie Clark championship bout is expected to draw strong local support as Byrnes looks to capture the PKF Mid-Atlantic title in front of a hometown crowd.
