Charleston Area Residents Gearing Up for Annual Event
CHARLESTON, W.VA. – With the 2016 Walk to End Alzheimer’s planning underway, volunteers and community members are encouraged to join the 2016 Volunteer Kickoff Party on Thursday, March 3, 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the Clubhouse Room at Appalachian Power Park.
“Without committed volunteers, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s® wouldn’t be possible,” said Bethany Hall, Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, West Virginia Chapter. “Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. We always need volunteers to expand our capacity to serve the thousands of West Virginians and their families living with this devastating disease.”
