PARKERSBURG, W.Va. — A little rain did not stop the Traveling Vietnam Wall from being opened to the public on Thursday in City Park.
Dedication ceremonies began at 6 p.m. inside the pavilion with Larry “Mad Max” Maxwell as master of ceremonies welcoming everyone in attendance.
“I lost a good friend whose name is on that wall,” Maxwell said.
