‘Enough! Rally for Women’s Health’ set for Saturday in Charleston

The Register-Herald

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — People from all over the state are invited to join “Enough! Rally for Women’s Lives” Saturday from 3-5 p.m. at the state Capitol to rally against decisions being made to women’s health.

Coordinators for the event said they believe politicians are determined to change the state constitution to say there is no right to abortion, and they will be joining together on the 105th anniversary of DC’s Woman Suffrage Parade of 1913 to let state legislators know they will not stand for them playing politics with women’s health.

The event will be hosted by WV FREE, American Civil Liberties Union of West Virginia, Planned Parenthood Votes! South Atlantic, Women’s March West Virginia, West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Charleston, WV, National Association of Social Workers, West Virginia Chapter, Women’s Health Center of West Virginia and West Virginia NOW.
