CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The commissioner of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources Bureau for Medical Services has been chosen to participate in the Medical Leader Institute.
According to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Cynthia Beane is one of only six Medicaid directors to be chosen for this honor. The others chosen for this conference were from Florida, Indiana, Minnesota, Tennessee and Texas.
During the 10-month-long program, participants will experience in-person training sessions, site visits and individualized coaching, as well as networking opportunities with peers, thought leaders and policymakers, according to officials.
