BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — If you’re craving BBQ or bingo, mark Sunday, Nov. 15, on your calendar.
Robin Murphy, pitmaster of Nuthin’ Fancy BBQ and a pro competitor in the 2015 BBQ Bash, will be smoking baby back ribs, brisket, pork and all the trimmings at the “BBQ & Bingo” at the Buckhannon Moose Lodge on Nov. 15.
Tickets should be purchased by noon on Wednesday, Nov. 11, for racks of ribs and a special BBQ sampler platter with three meats, sides and drink. Tickets are on sale in Buckhannon at The Inter-Mountain, Island Auto, and the Record Delta. BBQ meals will be available for pick-up in the Moose ballroom, with limited dine-in seating, beginning at noon on Nov. 15.
“Other BBQ options, including pulled pork and brisket sandwiches, baked beans, and homemade potato salad, will be offered, along with additional racks of ribs and sampler platters – while supplies last,” said spokesperson Jody Light. “Don’t be disappointed – enjoy great BBQ by purchasing your BBQ & Bingo tickets early!”
“Over 20 area crafters and home-based businesses will also be displaying and selling their wares inside the Moose Lodge beginning at noon, so you can eat and shop before Bingo begins at 1:30 p.m. Bingo prizes include purses by Coach, Miche, and Vera Bradley, Pampered Chef products, and other specialty gifts.
