MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Tuesday, Sept. 23, marks the first full day of autumn, according to AccuWeather meteorologist Tom Kines.

And nothing says fall like a bushel of golden delicious apples.

The WVU Horticulture Farm began its annual apple sale recently.

Right now, the farm is offering golden delicious apples at 75 cents per pound.

Farm worker Marvin Clark said they have about six bins of apples right now. There are 20 bushels in a bin — and that comes out to about 880 pounds per bin.

People can pick up the apples from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the farm off W.Va. 705.

The sale will continue…
