GRANVILLE, W.Va. — A stadium is coming together.

Steelworkers are forming the frame of the WVU baseball teams’ home turf. The stadium is near the University Town Centre in Granville. Work should be completed in the spring.

The ballpark will be home to the WVU baseball team as well as a new minor league team for the area. Other teams and organizations might use the field. The stadium has an estimated $21 million cost.

The stadium is expected to have seating for 3,500 people, with 2,500 permanent seats.
