Sabraton to get latest ‘Little Free Library’

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Deckers Creek Trail might at first seem like the last place to check out a library book, but the MOMS Club of Morgantown and Friends Of Deckers Creek have other plans.

The two groups partnered to bring a Little Free Library to Sabraton. Volunteers worked to stain the library Thursday, Oct. 22, to protect it from the weather. Similar free libraries are located throughout the county.

Adrienne Holliday, president of the MOMS Club of Morgantown, said the library will be set up in the picnic area of the Outdoor Learning Park located behind the Sabraton Kroger.

Holliday said this location was chosen because a lot of families pass it on the trail and employees from nearby businesses also visit during their breaks…
