BRUCETON MILLS, W.Va. — A tribute to David Allen Pretzel opened the bull riding competition Saturday night, June 28, at the memorial rodeo that bears his name.
A fitting tribute, according to Pretzel’s sister, Joni Bryte. She said she knew David would want to be close to the main event.
“Allen really enjoyed the bull riding. He got a high off the rodeo. It means a lot to have this and it would be really nice if he was here to see this,” Bryte said. “It means a lot knowing he’s looking down seeing everyone enjoying themselves.”
