Dozens gathered outside the restaurant just before 11 a.m. Tuesday as the restaurant kicked off Strawberry Pie Week.

Jimmie Carder, general manager, said her dad always called the annual tradition his love gift to the community.

Carder said she would love for everyone to get all the pie they could eat, but that is just not feasible.
