PRINCETON — The patriotic song America the Beautiful filled the speakers at Anne S. Hunnicutt stadium Monday afternoon as kids played touch football and enjoyed the music for the Princeton 4th of July Celebration.
Princeton 4th Celebration Event Coordinator Brandon Hicks turned down his radio as he spoke with the Bluefield Daily Telegraph early Monday afternoon about the event. “We are just enjoying the fruits of everyone’s labor today,” Hicks said. “There’s been a lot of hard work that’s went into this event. It is truly tremendous how many people are here already. There’s plenty of kids out enjoying the kid’s corner.”
