City employee Andy Wright, 53, of Charleston, does some brushwork Wednesday at the entrance to Appalachian Power Park. Some additional painting awaits as the steps will receive a coat of black and gold to cover repair patches in the concrete. Meantime, the Power suffered a 3-9 defeat to the visiting Savannah Sand Gnats in the first game of a three-day homestand.
