New beams sit in place for the future Clarksburg Street Bridge. The beam installation began on Tuesday and is scheduled to be completed by today.
MANNINGTON, W.Va. — The new Clarksburg Street Bridge is starting to take shape.
Michael Pratt, superintendent with Century Bridge, explained the beam setting began on Tuesday. These beams, or girders, will support the deck of the bridge.
According to Pratt, the beams are joined together then set in place.
