A tree blown down during Tuesday night’s high winds came to a rest on Brenda Blankenship’s Ward Road residence in Randolph County. The fallen tree damaged the roof of the residence as well as striking a vehicle in the driveway. High winds tore through much of the area during the overnight hours.
