Mike Book, director of the West Virginia Raptor Rehabilitation Center in Fairmont, holds Landing Gear a red-shouldered hawk who is at the center to be rehabilitated back to nature. Book said the center offers educational programs featuring the raptors, or birds of prey, at the facility throughout the year.
