Morgantown paper boosts Rotary Club’s fight against polio

The Dominion Post does more than just write about a local group’s initiative:

“…this disease still haunts regions of the world in south Asia and west Africa. In October, members of more than 30 North American Rotary clubs, including clubs in Morgantown and Kingwood, traveled to Togo. Togo’s proximity to Nigeria, where more than 50 cases of polio have been recorded this year, was good reason to establish a fire line there. Last week, our pages featured scads of stories, photos and other information about Rotary’s recent PolioPlus mission to Togo. Our publisher and one of our reporters, both Rotary members, were part of that undertaking…”
