WVU opens new residential complex

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — WVU President E. Gordon Gee pondered an address change Thursday, Aug. 13, as he looked around the new University Park complex, in Evansdale.

“I came over for a tour last week and was so envious I wanted to move in,” he said.

Thursday was the day WVU dedicated University Park, which is on Oakland Street.

University Park’s 408 apartments can accomodate 1,300 students, faculty and staff.
