WVU boots 3 students for post-Baylor mayhem

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — WVU expelled three students Thursday, Oct. 23, for their behavior after this past weekend’s football upset of nationally ranked Baylor in Morgantown.

Their names weren’t released.

Post-game partying in Sunnyside after the 41-27 win morphed into rioting downtown that damaged police cars and other property.

As many as 21 people, students and otherwise, have been identified on social media for criminal behavior, WVU Police Chief Bob Roberts said.

“Now, it’s just a matter of sorting through everything,” he said.

WVU president Gordon Gee said WVU won’t tolerate such behavior.

More expulsions will likely follow, he said…
