Who/What: Rockefeller will deliver remarks to “A Bright Economic Future for the Mountain State” event. Rockefeller will discuss the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields as part of West Virginia’s economic future.

Senator Rockefeller has long fought to improve conditions for those suffering from the disease – from improving claims processing for beneficiaries to strengthening the Black Lung program and lessening the legal hurdles for survivors.”

Who/What: “Since 1997, when Senator Rockefeller’s landmark legislation to create the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) was signed into law, millions of children have been afforded access to critical health care services. With reauthorization on the horizon, Rockefeller will make a strong case for why continuation of this program is crucial.
