HIGH POINT, N.C. — A Princeton couple who appeared on the reality show “My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding” is behind bars in North Carolina accused of stealing from a bride and groom.
Eden Brianna Boswell, 22, and Elvis Allen Boswell, 24, are charged with felony larceny after allegedly taking honeymoon cash and rings during a wedding they were attending Sunday, according to a report from the High Point Police Department.
Eden Boswell was supposed to be the maid of honor in the wedding, which was being held at Castle McCulloch, Capt. Mike Kirk, of the High Point Police Department, said.
“Someone notices Eden slip out with the bride’s purse,” Kirk said. “And somebody tells somebody else what they saw.”
Kirk said there was a confrontation and police were called.
When police arrived, the Boswells had locked their keys in their truck, Kirk said. “They said somebody was on the way to bring them a spare key … but we were able to unlock it.”
Kirk said the bride’s purse, the couple’s wedding rings and some of the cash were found in the vehicle. “We patted Mr. Boswell down and found some cash that had some writing on it,” that indicated it was part of the honeymoon cash, Kirk said.
“As you can imagine, everybody was a little upset…
