MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — WVU’s new Heart and Vascular Institute, scheduled to open in January, is expected to double the number of WVU cardiac physicians from about 25 to 50 over the next five years, according to Albert Wright, president and CEO of WVU Hospitals and COO of WVU Medicine.
The institute will be headquartered in the new $200 million, 10-story tower on WVU Medicine’s main campus.
