MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Monongalia County Solid Waste Authority (SWA) is considering closing its Community Recycling Center at the Morgantown Industrial Park, and ending its Drop-Off Recycling Satellite Program.
This is one of three options the SWA is examining to respond to a significant drop in revenue stemming from WVU, Westover and, to a lesser extent, Morgantown switching to “single stream” recycling through Republic Services, members said during their Monday, Dec. 1, meeting.
