HUNTINGTON – Marshall University football head coach Doc Holliday and athletic director Mike Hamrick are receiving six-year contract extensions with pay raises.
Marshall announced Tuesday that it has agreed in principle with Holliday and Hamrick on new contract terms. Details of the contracts will be finalized in the next several weeks, according to a release from the university.
“We are indeed pleased to have secured Mike Hamrick and Coach Holliday as our athletic director and head coach for the long term,” Michael G. Sellards, chairman of the Marshall University Board of Governors, said in the release.
“They have both done outstanding work in their respective jobs and their commitment to Marshall University and the success of our student-athletes both on and off the field is truly commendable. We look forward to continued success in the coming years..
