HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — In just over a month, a proposal for an indoor shooting range in Huntington’s West End has received approval of city officials.
Monday night Huntington City Council unanimously approved the final three ordinances that paved the way for the proposed $3 million range.
The three ordinances passed one after the other with no comments from residents in attendance or council members. The ordinances spell out prohibited actions, licensing requirements and zoning stipulations for indoor shooting ranges.
