That’s what holiday travelers are doing.
While cheap gas prices may unsettle Scrooge or the Grinch, holiday travelers were feeling festive while holding the gas pump’s handle Wednesday. Around Beckley prices ranged from $1.99 to $2.09 for a gallon of regular unleaded. Those prices were gifts to the thousands of holiday travels passing through the region headed to grandma’s house.
Especially those traveling from afar. At the Sheetz on Robert C Byrd Drive, Sandy Lightener of Knoxville, Tenn., was watching the numbers whiz by as she filled her Ford Explorer.
