MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — With a little more than a week until kickoff, WVU fans have snatched thousands of tickets for the Liberty Bowl.
According Associate Athletic Director for External Affairs Matt Wells, when athletic department usage figures are included, fans have purchased 3,500 tickets from the university’s allotment.
Tickets to the game can still be purchased through wvugame.com or by calling 1-800-WVU-GAME (988-4263) at $85 per ticket. The phone lines will be open on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 22-23. Web sales will occur throughout the holiday week.
