PARKERSBURG – Since 1875, The Parkersburg News and Sentinel has delivered valuable news and information to the residents of the Mid-Ohio Valley.

The News and Sentinel has been an integral part of life in the region for generations, delivering news from your neighborhood and beyond directly to your door.

But as technology changes, so do newspapers.

More than a decade ago, The News and Sentinel began delivering an Internet version to online readers. In 2012, we added a mobile version to allow readers access to the newspaper on devices such as smart phones.

The News and Sentinel has long provided readers with comprehensive coverage of news, sports, opinions, news of record and other information important to the residents of the Mid-Ohio Valley. Neither our website nor mobile app is an exact copy of the printed version.

Beginning Wednesday, readers will be able to read the entire newspaper, online, every day.

Every page, every story and every advertisement will now be electronically available to our subscribers regardless of where they are located. The electronic version of The News and Sentinel will download to a smart phone, tablet or computer in a few seconds and allow you to read the newspaper in the same manner you would if you were holding the printed edition in your hands.

Subscribers also will be able to enjoy the same website they have used for years, which includes an archive of thousands of stories…
