Clarksburg paper promotes veteran staff member

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Veteran newspaper journalist Tim Langer has been promoted to news editor of The Exponent Telegram.

Langer, who has been with the newspaper for 27 years, most recently served as assistant news editor.

 “Tim has been a loyal, dedicated employee with strong journalistic skills and integrity,” Executive Editor John G. Miller said. “We’re glad he’s accepted the chance to play more of a role in the development of our news content for our print, digital and social media channels.”

Langer is a Harrison County native, graduating from Liberty High School in 1979 and from Fairmont State College in 1983 with a degree in English and a minor in journalism.
