All Access opens up The Inter-Mountain anywhere

ELKINS, W.Va. — With the launch today of our electronic edition, subscribers to The Inter-Mountain have a new way to enjoy the newspaper that has served residents of Central West Virginia since 1892.

All Access, which can be viewed at www.theintermountain.com, makes the entire newspaper available to subscribers.

The feature also is available in app form for Apple and Android tablets and smart phones.

With the apps, readers can read every story of every page of the print version of the newspaper regardless of their geographic location. Readers can flip through the pages, view the newspaper in gallery fashion or view stories in an easy-to-navigate grid. Once downloaded, the newspaper can be viewed without an Internet connection.

On the Web, subscribers can access the entire print edition in addition to the website, which contains more than 60,000 stories dating back to 2008.

A link has been added to the upper right corner of the home page to get additional information, establish an All Access account, and to locate the apps.

A page at www.theintermountain.com/AllAccess provides both information and links that will help you enjoy The Inter-Mountain anywhere.

If you are not a subscriber, you can click on the subscribe link to subscribe to The Inter-Mountain. All Access is included with print subscriptions, or can be separately purchased.

“The addition of a digital version of the newspaper was a logical next step for The Inter-Mountain,” said Publisher and General Manager Heather Goodwin Henline. “Readers now can access the same newspaper regardless of whether they are on their porch or traveling far away from Central West Virginia. We are very committed to serving our readers wherever they may be, and this is a great step toward delivering what our readers expect – wherever they may be.”

Older iPhone and Android apps remain available for The Inter-Mountain, giving readers an executive summary of the top stories of the day.
